Through the course of history, people made stands against ideas that were unfair. Cesar Chavez took a major stand during his lifetime. He stand up against the unjust treatment of the grape in California and progressed to all farmers.
Chavez worked to gain higher wages for his fellow workers. The stand he made followed a peaceful path. Chavez achieved his goal with the conditions and wages of farmers increasing.
Cesar Chavez believed his cause and achieved his goal of correct payment for the grape farmers who worked to support their families.
